Welcome, from the Mission Area Leader.
Welcome to the Mission Area of Estuary and Mountain within the Diocese of St. Asaph and part of the Anglican communion of the Church in Wales.
We have set up this website to have a central place of connection and information and we hope that you will find it helpful.
Here you will find contact information, advice about forthcoming events and how to join in, recordings of services to listen to and see, and also plans to include notices of various support available within the communities of the mission area.
Please make use of anything that can be helpful to you. This is where we can choose to let God be our rock and our fortress, our very present help in trouble. We can be the people who are able, even in our need, to be supportive and caring of others.
This is our time to be both vulnerable and generous as Christ has shown through His life, death and resurrection.
All my best wishes to you all,
Spring 2024 Teulu Asaph
Teulu Asaph is our diocesan magazine, available every three months both online and distributed to every church in the diocese. Click on the image of the magazine to read the Spring 2024 edition.
In this issue, we focus on growing faith and what that looks like in the churches of the Ceiriog Valley in the Valle Crucis Mission Area. Plus, we hear about a recent visit to our sister-diocese, Southwest Tanganyika, find out how churches in the Pool Mission Area are collecting Eco-Church Awards and how college chaplaincy is evolving across north-east Wales.
