Welcome, from the Mission Area Leader.

Welcome to the Mission Area of Estuary and Mountain within the diocese of St. Asaph and part of the Anglican communion of the Church in Wales.

We have set up this website to have a central place of connection and information and we hope that you will find it helpful.

During this time of change, remaining connected with other people is crucial for us all so on the website there is contact information, advice about forthcoming events and how to join in, recordings of services to listen to and see, and also plans to include notices of various support available within the communities of the mission area.

Please make use of anything that can be helpful to you.

We are faced with an unquantifiable challenge.  Although we are gradually becoming used to the quiet streets and the sense of waiting, the pared down lifestyles and the reduction in physical interaction we have no clear idea of the length of time this might continue.  As a consequence, our sense of being in control is reduced and the possibility of rising anxiety can be part of our experience.

This is where we can choose to let God be our rock and our fortress, our very present help in trouble.  We can be the people who are able, even in our need, to be supportive and caring of others.
This is our time to be both vulnerable and generous as Christ has shown through His life, death and resurrection.

All my best wishes to you all

Anne.
