Reporting a Safeguarding Concern:
If you wish to report a safeguarding concern, you can report it directly to the Church in Wales’ Safeguarding team here or using the button below.
If you have information about a safeguarding situation where a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical attention, please call the emergency services now on 999 – DO NOT DELAY.
If you think that a child or adult is at risk of harm but is not in immediate danger, please call the local authority social services department.

Safeguarding Awareness:
Safeguarding needs to be embedded across all aspects of life and ministry of the Church. To ensure our churches are safe placed for everyone, all church members are encouraged to undergo safeguarding awareness courses relevant to their roles.
The training is designed and delivered by experienced and skilled trainers, committed to ensuring the Church is safe and welcoming place for all. They understand the statutory requirements of safeguarding children and adults, and how these are carried out in the context of the Church in Wales.
The various modules are:

Module A - Safeguarding Awareness
For all of us within our church communities. The Church in Wales Safeguarding Awareness Course is aimed at all of us within our church communities, and is intended to equip you to help make the church – and keep the church – a safe place. Course time: 45 mins Module B - Understanding Safeguarding in the Church For all clergy, churchwardens, licensed readers, vergers, Ministry Area Council members, Ministry Area safeguarding officers and anyone who has a role which involves working with children, young people and adults at risk.
